Change in management...

Nox Medical has gradually been changing from being an engineer-driven company into a fully developed, medical product and service provider. As the company grows and the focus of the daily operation changes, Sveinbjörn Höskuldsson (Svenni) which has been CEO of Nox Medical since it was founded in 2006, has decided to step down as the CEO. Svenni will take over as the chairmain of the board and chief technology officer.

Nox Medical has appointed Petur Mar Halldorsson as the new chief executive officer (CEO). Petur was the sales manager of international sales at Medcare Flaga (now Embla) from 2001 to 2006. Recently he has been working as a consultant in the business of sleep diagnostics for CareFusion.  Petur‘s experience will be invaluable for Nox Medical in building up the sales, marketing and service functions.

Watermark chooses T3 portable sleep recorder

Watermark Medical the leader in Health Information Technology for managing chronic diseases, announced today that the company will offer the NOX-T3 portable sleep recorder as part of their home sleep testing solution. In a press statement president of Watermark Medical, Charlie Alvarez said:
“We are excited to add another HST option to our current offering. As OSA awareness increases and insurance companies are mandating a home sleep test option, availability of the CareFusion NOX-T3 home sleep testing device allows us to further expand the Watermark Medical platform and allow other HST devices to access our extensive physician, sleep lab and DME networks."

Nox Medical and "Hringurinn" Pediatric Clinic

Nox Medical and The pediatric clinic at Hringurinn, located in Iceland, have come to a cooperation agreement, which will help further develop the Nox Sleep systems to better support this important patient group. Nox Medical recently delivered the first T3 system to the clinic; at this opportunity the picture below was taken. Software Update

A new software update has been issued for the T3 Noxturnal application software and the T3 device software. The new released version is Noxturnal 2.0.1.10363 and the T3 firmware version is 1.2.4.10349
Whats new:
  • Support added for the new Nonin 3150 wireless oximeter
  • T3 battery usage reduced by 20%
  • T3 firmware fixes that resolve possible stability issues during T3 data download
  • Other minor fixes
This is a recomended update for all users. Users should contact their local distributer to receive the update.
